Responsibility, Transparency & Ethical Action
The recruitment of international skilled workers requires the highest level of care and professionalism.
The recruitment of international skilled workers is a process that requires the highest level of care and professionalism. At Geis & Partner, we have committed to clear and binding principles that ensure success for our clients and fairness towards skilled workers.
1. Free for Skilled Workers (Employer-Pays Principle)
We consistently work according to the Employer-Pays Principle. The entire recruitment and placement process is fundamentally free for the skilled workers we support. All costs are borne exclusively by the future employer.
- We ensure that our clients' employment contracts do not contain repayment clauses or hidden fees relating to placement or recruitment costs.
- This obligation applies to the entire service chain, including our partners abroad.
2. Global Responsibility & Ethical Recruitment
Our actions are guided by international standards to ensure fair and responsible recruitment practices.
- WHO Health Workforce Support and Safeguards List: We do not recruit from countries whose healthcare systems are burdened by a critical shortage of skilled personnel. The current World Health Organization (WHO) list is binding for us.
- ILO Guidelines: We adhere to the International Labour Organization (ILO) guidelines for fair recruitment and the protection of workers' rights.
3. Transparency and Information in the Process
We create a reliable basis for decision-making through maximum transparency.
- Each skilled worker receives comprehensive and truthful information about working and living conditions in Germany and Austria early on and in their native language.
- This includes realistic information about remuneration, contributions, living costs, and the recognition process.
- We avoid unrealistic promises and ensure that all expectations are based on a solid foundation.
4. Focus on Sustainable Integration
Our responsibility does not end with the arrival of the skilled worker.
- We understand linguistic, professional, and social integration as a crucial part of the process to ensure long-term success for employers and employees.
- Our mentoring and language support programs are designed to facilitate onboarding, relieve the burden on our clients' teams, and promote high employee retention.
A Word on Quality and Certifications
Unlike the nursing sector, there is no state-recognized quality seal for fair recruitment for the professional fields we support (including physiotherapy, MRT, MTL). Therefore, we have committed to our own strict quality standards. Our benchmark is not a general seal, but the trust of our clients, the demonstrable success in integration, and the longevity of the employment relationships we create.
Complaint Management & Compliance
Adherence to our principles has the highest priority. Should you or third parties have cause for complaint or information about possible misconduct in connection with our services, we ensure a clear and confidential reporting channel.
Please contact management directly in such cases. We guarantee prompt, impartial review and handling of your concern.
